An 8 -point face lift is considered an affordable yet effective alternative to surgery. The procedure involves the careful placement of dermal filler into 8 specific areas of the face. Products of different volumes and consistencies are injected according to individual client needs.
8 points are selected on each side of the upper, mid and lower face.
Overall this treatment results in more defined and uplifted cheeks an improvement in the tear trough area as well as any droopiness to the mouth. It also softens nasolabial folds (mouth to nose lines), marionette lines as well as delivering a subtle jaw lift.
At Richmond Cosmetic Clinic, we use a range of products for 8-point face lift. A combination of the following is typically used: Juvederm (Juvederm Voluma®, Juvederm Volift® and Juvederm Ultra 4®), Restylane (Restylane Sub-Q® and Restylane Lyft®) and Radiesse®.
The procedure takes approximately 20 -30 minutes to perform.
The use of a microcannula minimises any downtime following the procedure. It is common to experience some mild bruising and swelling but this typically resolves quickly and most clients return to normal activity the same or next day.
