The chemical peel’s active ingredient consists of a blend of salicylic acid, glycolic acid and lactic acid. It also contains soothing agents such as liquorice root and willow bark to minimise irritation. The function of the chemical peel is to accelerate the skin shedding process, dead skin cells are forced to the surface and expelled. In addition, Blue Peel Radiance actively stimulates collagen production. Following the application of the peel there is no or minimal downtime. For optimal results a course of four to six treatments (once weekly or fortnightly) is recommended.
The use of SPF 50 after the procedure is strongly advised.
